Hens Game: Find My Man

So you are planning a Hens night? If your heading into town then this game will be perfect addition to your night of fun.

Create some playing cards by drawing or describing different types of men on them. For example you may include a red haired man with tatoos, a short man in a suit, a muscular man with piercing.

Each lady is given three of the these playing card to take with her on the night. The aim of the game is for each lady to match her character playing card to a real life man. She must take a picture of the man for proof. The first to find all three men who match her cards wins.

*TIP: We thought it would be a really easy and cool idea to hand out character cards from the game 'Guess Who' and have the ladies find the man who looks exactly like the guess who characters.

10 Ideas to Plan the Perfect Hens Night

1. Ask the Bride First
If you’re looking for pointers on how to plan the perfect hens night, who better to talk to than the bride herself? She’ll either leave it all up to you or she’ll have a few ideas of her own. Either way it’s always best to hash it out first. If she wants to help you plan, add a few extra surprises along the way.

2. Start Early
If you’re planning a hen’s night, day or weekend it’s best to plan well in advance. This will ensure that all the guests are available and you’ll also be less stressed come the big day.

3. Guest List
Again, you should ask the bride before sending out the invites. You might have a few ideas and want to surprise her but it’s best if she knows who’s invited first so that no one is left out.

4. Pick a Date
Once you’ve got the guest list sorted you can start hashing out dates. Have a few options handy and ask around. One of the dates will ultimately be better suited to most people. Unfortunately when planning parties it’s almost inevitable that one or two people won’t be able to make it but always choose a date that fits the bride, VIP’s and majority of guests.

5. Budget
Once you’ve planned the events you should be able to stick to a budget. You can have a great time without spending a whole lot of money. Keep in mind any accommodation, meals, activities etc. It’s a good idea to let everyone know well ahead of time if you need them to chip in.

6. Accommodation
Whether you’re all staying the night in a fancy hotel or you just need somewhere to play party games, you need to plan your accommodation and book well in advance.

7. Activities
Sure there’s the good old pub crawl but that’s not going to fit with every hen. Instead of coming up with traditional hen night ideas think about the hen’s personality and favourite things and come up with some ideas based around that. It’s hard to go wrong with spa treatments and anything that will pamper your hen and guests.

8. Gifts
The hen’s night is the perfect time to give the hen those cheeky gifts for the wedding night and honeymoon period. Why not buy some beautiful lingerie or some bedroom games from Savvi for the hen and her rooster.

9. Dinner
Pick a restaurant you and the girls haven’t been to before. Ask for recommendations and always check the place out before you book. See if there’s a secluded area where the party can reside and always check the wine list.

10. Girls Night
A lot of hens would rather a girl’s night in than a pub crawl. Host a girlie sleepover, complete with pyjamas, sleeping bags, beauty kits, romantic comedies and magazines.

Hens Night Game: Never Have I Ever

Your guests sit in a circle each with a alcoholic drink in hand. The first person announces to the group something they have never done ie: "Never have I ever sang in the shower". All guests who have sang in the shower must take a sip of their drink. One by one each guest will announce something they have never done, whilst the rest of the guests take a drink if they have.

Here are some suggestions to get you started, the more controversial the statements the more fun the game:

Never have I ever walked into a sex shop
Never have I ever read the entire Twilight Series
Never have I ever skinny dipped
Never have I ever kissed someone on the first date
Never have I ever been in handcuffs

Enjoy!

Hens Night Post It Note Game

This game is a fantastic way to give the bride a fun and memorable night along with some wonderful memories and keepsakes.

Give all of your guests a post-it note and pen and ask them to write a short sentence of a memory they have of the bride. Collect the notes and place them on a hard surface. The bride then has to read out each of the notes and guess who wrote it whilst explaining the story in full out loud. A story about childhood memories, ex boyfriends, drunken nights and girls gossip is welcome and a must to ensure a good laugh!

Hens Night Game - "Clink & Drink"

This game helps break the ice at the beginning of your party whilst helping your guests to identify the relationship each person has to the bride and groom.

Ensure all guests have full glasses of champagne (or soft drink). Announce that if you fall into the catagory of the groups that are about to be called out you are to "clink" the glass of the others within that group and "drink". Here are a list of group catagories to get you started:

  • "Clink and Drink" if you are from the family of the bride
  • "Clink and Drink" if you are from the family of the groom
  • "Clink and Drink" if you went to school with the bride
  • "Clink and Drink" if you work with the bride
  • "Clink and Drink" if you have known the bride for over 10yrs
  • "Clink and Drink" if you are in the bridal party

You could make the game more interactive where you could say "Clink and Drink" if you have an embarrasing story about the bride, then the group members who have clinked are then to each give a 1 minute run down of the embarrasing story.

Enjoy!

Toilet Paper Hens Night Game

Design a Toilet Paper Wedding Dress

This is a well known but extremely fun game for hens nights or kitchen teas. You will need loads of toilet paper, a sticky tape roll for each team, fun materials in white such as tinsel, crepe paper, garbage bags and anything else creative you can think of. Split the party into teams of two or three and nominate a model. Allow 10 – 15 minutes for the teams to create a wedding dress on the model made of the toilet paper and other fun materials provided.
After the time is up each model should strut their stuff on the catwalk with the designers explaining the inspiration behind their creation (have them come up with a designer name to really sell the dress). The bride chooses the winning dress and the team receive a prize. Remember to take lots of photos!

Pin your kiss on the hottie

Pucker up girls your night is about to get hot hot hot with this fabulous hens night game.

The aim of this game is to kiss a picture (yes a picture before you get too excited) of the hottest celebrity the closest kiss to the guys smoocher, or other private parts (the game could go as far as you wish to navigate) is the winner.

  1. Pin the biggest picture you can find of your dreamy celebrity on the wall (Johnnie Depp anyone?)
  2. Ask the girls to bring along their brightest lipsticks and pucker up.
  3. Blindfold your lovely guest and spin them three times releasing them in the direction of the picture.
  4. Without using their hands to find the edge of the poster, the guest will then smack a lovely bright kiss as close to the celebrity lips as possible. Write the persons name next to their kiss.
  5. The closest kiss to the target is the winner.

We love this game because its simple, its different to your usual pin the paraphernalia on the man and a whole lot of fun!
